Works displayed for the exhibition Paint Thing… You Make My Heart Sing were an array of small new works that combined found objects from home and oil paintings on canvas.

The works were an attempt to cross the boundaries between objects that have lived a long life, such as a screen door, a computer board, an old cook book and an old used chinese new year banner, alongside a gallery space and painted canvases.

Again, these works allow objects with imbued contexts, to sit alongside a painting object, in order to disrupt our understanding of what a painting is and is for.
