Loving/hating/dying/living (I have come to a gradual state of undoing) Video, Sound, Painting, Installation, Sculpture, Performance, Poem

The work was made from sound recordings of the artist's younger sister playing the piano at home and audio secretly recorded of her parents in confrontation speaking the Cantonese dialect. The song played on piano was later discovered to be the song, ‘I still call Australia home’, a song of patronism by musician Peter Allen. Contradiction and confrontation are faced to challenge the artist’s experiences growing up between counter cultures, values and practices.

On the opening night of the exhibition, Jazmine performed a work reading aloud an excerpt of poetry on family as she moved about in various ways with a laundry hamper.
